A/Prof Foley is a Dermatologist in Melbourne. He is the Director of Research at the Skin Health Institute and the Head of Dermatology Research at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. He is a visiting medical officer to the Photobiology, Dermatology Biologics, and Dermatology Investigation clinics at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and the Phototherapy, Atopic Dermatitis, and Psoriasis Advanced Targeted Therapies clinics at the Skin Health Institute. 

A/Prof Foley  is an international thought leader in the use of biologic agents. He has been an investigator in over 180 clinical trials and has over 200 published manuscripts. 

He has been a councillor on the International Psoriasis Council (IPC) since 2012, is a founding member of the Australasian Psoriasis Collaboration, and is a former steering committee member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA), now a member of GRAPPA Treatment Recommendations – Psoriasis Workgroup. 

He currently holds leadership positions in the following groups:

  • The Asia-Pacific Management of Generalized Pustular Psoriasis Consensus,

  • The My Psoriatic Arthritis Expert Advisory Group
