Can I use this service if I’m not sure what my condition is?
Yes. If you’re unsure of the cause of your skin concern, you can still use our service. During booking, you’ll be asked to upload photos for an initial assessment. If your case is not suitable for telehealth, we’ll let you know and recommend an in-person consultation instead.
What if I need a biopsy, cortisone injection, or another procedure?
If your dermatologist recommends a procedure such as a biopsy, cortisone injection, surgery, or phototherapy, we’ll refer you to a local dermatologist or clinic. Your care will remain connected and seamless – we’ll work closely with the local doctor to ensure continuity with your Digital Dermatology specialist.
Is this service suitable for children or teenagers?
Yes. There are no set age restrictions. Children must attend their consultation with a parent or guardian. Teenagers may attend on their own if, in the dermatologist’s clinical judgment, they demonstrate enough maturity to understand their condition, treatment options, and associated risks. This is assessed during the consultation.
Can I choose which dermatologist I see?
Yes, you can choose your preferred dermatologist. We aim to offer appointments within two weeks; however, wait times may be longer if you select a specific doctor, especially if they focus on a particular area of dermatology.

Do you offer after-hours or weekend appointments?
Yes. After-hours appointments are generally available, though availability varies depending on the doctor and time of year. Pricing is the same for all appointment times.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours, or non-attendance, incur a 100% cancellation fee. We understand that emergencies happen. If you let us know as soon as possible, we’ll do our best to offer a partial credit or reschedule at no extra cost.
Can I just send a photo, or do I need a video consultation?
At this stage, we only offer live video consultations. You’ll be asked to upload photos beforehand to help your dermatologist prepare. In future, we plan to offer a photo-only assessment service.
Can I use this service to check moles or monitor for skin cancer?
Our service is not suitable for routine full-body skin checks. If you’re concerned about a specific mole or spot, a dermatologist may be able to assess whether it appears suspicious. In some cases, a conclusive diagnosis requires an in-person examination with a dermatoscope or a biopsy.
When will I receive my medication with free delivery?
Once your medication order is approved, it will be shipped free of charge via standard Australia Post. Delivery typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
