4. Nurse support

Need help or guidance with your treatment? Our nurses are here for you.

Most skin conditions can be assessed and managed via telehealth. However, there are a few important exceptions.

Full-body skin check

Full-body skin checks for skin cancer cannot be done online. We offer a Spot Check service for checking individual moles or spots of concern.

Procedures

Procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions, intralesional steroid injections and phototherapy require an in-person visit

In these cases, we’ll guide you on how to access a local dermatologist or appropriate clinic.

To ensure accurate assessment, we rely on clear high-quality photos.

Spot Check for Skin Cancer

Early detection of skin cancer is vital. With a clear photo a dermatologist can assess whether a spot is:

Harmless

Safe to observe

Likely skin cancer

Should be removed

Unclear

Needs an in-person review to rule out skin cancer.

Sometimes the only way to be absolutely certain is to remove the spot and examine it under a microscope. If that’s needed, we’ll help arrange a timely referral to a local dermatologist.
